Allyson Felix

Allyson Melissa Felix was birthed at Los Angeles, California on November 18, 1985. Paul Felix, the father of Allyson Michelle Felix, is a minister at Master's Seminary Sun Valley. Marlean Felix works as a elementary school teacher at Balboa Magnet. Felix displayed an early talent to play sports while attending Los Angeles Baptist High School. She discovered her sprinting talent at that moment. At her first attempt and placing within the top two places in the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championships in the 200 meters in a mere 10 weeks. Felix agreed to sign a contract with Adidas for a career in professional sports with Adidas in 2003. She then enrolled at University of Southern California to learn about elementary education. Felix received her first Olympic award at 2004 Summer Olympics In Athens Greece. Felix ran 200 meters in 22.18s which set an all-time junior world record. At the 2005 Helsinki World Championships, Felix was the youngest world champion in the distance of 200 meters. In 2007, she won her title by beating Jamaican adversary Veronica Campbell. Felix took part at Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo and was consistently within the top three athletes at her particular events.
